It is about a boy named Percy Jackson. He is the son of Poseidon, the god of the sea, in Greek Mythology. Zeus, the god of the sky, had his lightning bolt get stolen. He blames it on Percy. He said if he doesn't get it back by the summer solstice, there will be war between the sky and the sea. Percy now has to find and bring the master bolt to Mount Olympus where all the gods are.

Percy goes on more adventures, meets new people, faces more monsters, creates more enemies, and learns a whole lot more skills to make him survive. I personally cannot wait 'till I get to read the fifth book and I do not want it to end!
