Nick's Wedding

On August 14. I wasn't there to see it, but I am happy! Our family went to the reception. I am so happy for them. I am glad to see Nick getting married in the temple.

Scorpion in the House!

My dad got a scorpion light. If you shine it on a scorpion, they will light up. We went outside to see if there were any scorpions. We didn't find one. Then, When we went in the house, my dad found a scorpion right by the door. Before we killed it, my dad took a couple of pictures. Joesph, Mom, and I were scared. So, we looked around the whole house for another scorpion with the flashlight just in case. Good thing that there wasn't. I will never forget that night a scorpion was in our house.

My E.F.G. (Especially For Girls) Book

For my last Activity Day program, we did an E.F.G. thing kind of like an E.F.Y. (Especially For Youth).
The theme was: Dare to be Me. The scripture was Joshua 1:9 "Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest." The youth have to memorize this scripture because this is there theme for the year.
This is my favorite Activity Day so far.

John Schmidt's Music

John Schmidt is my favorite celebrate. He is the best at the piano and I love his music. He came to Las Vegas, Nevada on April 16, the day after my birthday. I forgot to come and I was very disappointed when I realized it. I wish I could another opportunity like that.

I also wish that I could play one of his music pieces. I hope I will be a great piano player like him. My two favorite piano pieces is Waterfall and Love Story Meets Viva la Vida. I wish I could listen to those songs every day and I won't get tired of it.

One day, I will learn how to play Waterfall and I will play it every day on the piano.

My Birthday!

On Thursday, it was my birthday! I turned eleven years old. Happy Birthday, to ME! I had a birthday party on the Saturday before my birthday. The theme was, "I Scream for Ice Cream!" We played a number of games and had ice cream sundaes. I got some candy, a skittle bag, six webkinzs, two gift cards ($35) for Wal Mart, one gift card for Target ($15), a lot of art things, and a lot of supplies to make different things.

On Thursday, I got some clothes for Justice, Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Last Olympian (the fifth book of the series), and the first book of Fablehaven. I also had a field trip to a track meet. I got in third place three times and sixth place one time. We were outside for six hours (all of the school time). It was the best day ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Percy Jackson & the Olympians Series

Have you ever heard of the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series? They are so awesome! I love them! I am on the fourth book. They're five books total. They are so exciting.

It is about a boy named Percy Jackson. He is the son of Poseidon, the god of the sea, in Greek Mythology. Zeus, the god of the sky, had his lightning bolt get stolen. He blames it on Percy. He said if he doesn't get it back by the summer solstice, there will be war between the sky and the sea. Percy now has to find and bring the master bolt to Mount Olympus where all the gods are.

Want to know more? You have to read to first book to find out how it ends. Percy goes on more adventures, meets new people, faces more monsters, creates more enemies, and learns a whole lot more skills to make him survive. I personally cannot wait 'till I get to read the fifth book and I do not want it to end!

Christmas!

Two days ago, we had Christmas! It was so fun. We opened presents, had family over, went to the movie theaters, went caroling, and preformed at my grandma and grandpa's house.

For Christmas, my mom and dad got a new camera! It was the one they've always wanted! Mom also got a BYU basketball sweatshirt.

Joshua got clothes, a mini lego set, a BYU basketball shirt, Lucky Charms, and a few more things.

I got lots of adorable clothes from Justice, a BYU basketball shirt, Cookie Crunch, a new webkinz, and a few more things.

Joseph got a clone trooper, Bumble Bee (a yellow transformer that turns into a car), a mini lego set, a BYU basketball shirt, a new webkinz, and a few more things.

Angelina got a Baby Alive, a Moxie Girl, a princess coloring book, a webkinz, a Hannah Montana barbie doll, a Fancy Nancy Christmas book, Fancy Nancy sunglasses, Fancy Nancy purse, and a few more other things.

Benjamin got a Toy Story set, a Buzz Lightyear robot, a peek-a-boo book, Jucy Fruit, Gushers, lots of mini candy canes, and a few more other things.

As kids, we got the Wii, a Rock Band set, a disc for Rock Band 1, a disc for Rock Band 2, and a disc for a Star Wars Lego Wii game.

After we opened our presents, grandparents came over to have breakfast. We ate pancakes, cinnamon rolls, bacon, and sausage.

In the middle of the day, we went to the movie theaters. We saw Princess and the Frog. My favorite part is when the frogs escape the frog hunters. It is a funny movie.

After watching the movie, we drove over to Grandma Kathleen and Grandpa Wendel's house. We had dinner there. After dinner, we preformed the nativity. Then, we went caroling!

Moving

We moved to a new house at the beggining of November. I am so sad to leave all my friends behind and my favorite P.E. teacher. My new school is named Kitty Ward. I made a lot of new friends in one week. I miss my other house. I hope I like it here.

Chirstmas

I cannot wait 'till Christmas! It will be so much fun! It will be our first Christmas at our new house! I wonder what I'm going to get in my stocking. I'll try to have time to buy my family indivisiual presents. I just cannot wait!

Shopping

We went to Justice on Friday! I needed jeans. After school, we thought it would be a good time to go shop at Justice. Most of the things we bought there were my Christmas presents. I got boots, cute shirts, two pairs of jeans, and my mom bought me a necklace! I always go to Justice when I what to buy some clothes!

My Awards!

On July 1, I got awards at my school! My class was the last to be called up but, remember, they save the best for last! For my awards, I got four awards and two medals!

My awards were: the Nevada Citizenship Award, the Citizenship Award, Straight "A" Honor Roll Award, and the Excellent Gladiator Award.

My medals were: Nevada Citizenship Medal and the Excellent Gladiator Medal.

Joseph got awards too. He got the Citizenship Award and the Straight "A" Honor Roll Award.

I had so much fun smiling with my awards and medals!

Happy Birthday to Angelina!

Angelina's birthday party was just yesterday. It was a lot of fun. The theme was fairies and a tea party (we did not really drink tea, instead we drank lemonade). First, we decorated our wands; second, we made flower hats; third, we found our wings in the bonus room; fourth, we found our fairy skirts in the library; fifth, we got pixie dust from my mom and dad's room (it was really bubbles); sixth, we played "Fairy, fairy, troll" (instead of "Duck, duck, goose"); last, we had a fairy tea party (like I said "We drank lemonade NOT tea!"). It was very fun.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Happy Birthday to Me! I turned 10 on April 15. I invited 14 children to my birthday party (counting me). I got a lot of presents from all my girlfriends. We had a lot of fun. The subject of my birthday was a pajama party. First, we decorate pillows; second, we the Freeze Dance; third, we made Sleepy Time Flip-Flops; fourth, we watched a little bit of "High School Musical 3" while eating pizza; fifth, we got a manicure; sixth, we had a bedtime story; seventh, we opened presents; last, we had root beer floats.

Joseph's Baptism

Joseph got baptized on Saturday Jan. 31, 2009. When he went under the water, I felt like I went under the water too. After Joseph got baptized we were asked to bare our testimony about Joseph, if we would like. I went up a bore my testimony with my grandma. After that Joseph was dressed and he got the gift of the Holy Ghost.

My favorite baptism scripture is:

1 Nephi 10:10:

And after he had baptized the Messiah with water, he should behold and bare record that he had baptized the Lamb of God, who should take away the sins of the world.

Articles of Faith #4:

We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the Gospel are: first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second, Repentance; third, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; forth, Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost.

I would like to bare my testimony about Joseph. I am very happy Joseph got baptized. I am glad I was there to see him and feel the Holy Ghost be there with me. And I know that what Joseph did was right. I wish that everyone in the whole, entire, world would get baptized. It is a wonderful opportunity.

I Miss the Bezzants

I miss the Bezzants. They are fun to play with. The Bezzants are relatives to me. They live in Colorado. I visit them once a year. This year, I am going to visit them in June or July. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!

The Best Mom Ever!

I have the best mom ever! She is sweet, kind, pretty, loving, and hard working. One time she said we could go out for ice cream just for cleaning the house! My mom is so nice she doesn't even ground us. I love my mommy very much! I am glad to be her daughter.

Merry Christmas!

This Christmas was the best Christmas ever! We got toys and had lot's of fun!


Joshua got a CD player and a CD. He also got new clothes, snacks and toys.

For Christmas, I got a CD player and a High School Musical 3 CD. I also got new clothes, Trix cereal, Make-up, and new toys.


Joseph's favorite toy was the Indiana Jones lego set. He also got a sword, Lucky Charms, and slippers.

Angelina got a Polly Pocket set, Lucky Charms, Make-up, and her favorite thing was her huge Care Bear.

My mom's favorite present was her pink bike. She rode it in the house!

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!

On Wednesday guess what happened, IT SNOWED! It was about 32 degrees. I played out there for about a half a hour! I wore two long sleeves shirts, two hats, two jackets, three socks, gloves, a pair of shoes, and of course pants. I made a snowball about a foot tall! By that time my feet were frozen! I did not know why my feet were frozen because I had three socks on!

Surprise!

At Joshua's Birthday Party, something happened that was really funny. My aunt asked Angelina if she could braid her hair. Angelina said, "Yes."! She asked me if I could get a hair brush and two rubberbands. I went upstairs and got them. I could not believe that Angelina would let her braid her hair! Angelina never let's my mom or me braid her hair! I guess she was just trying to be polite.

Happy Birthday, Joshua!

It is Joshua's Birthday today! Joshua loves BYU, so guess what he got! He got a BYU T-shirt and a BYU pillow case. Dad is buying him a surprise present also. He is going to have a Marshmallow B-day party! We get to balance marshmallows on our noses, make a tower out of marshmallows, have a marshmallow gun fight, eat a yummy s'more cake.
